Wood Finishes
Sometimes, a piece can be transformed without physical distressing — it can be achieved in the finish. The way Abner Henry formulates color is different. The process we use to develop new shades is one that involves playing with pigments in order to achieve a richer, deeper finish that truly allows you to see into a piece. Some of these colors are achieved in four to five simple steps — while others are true labors of love, involving more than 20 steps, with a resulting color so deep and layered that the clarity and movement cannot be missed.
