Julie Browning Bova
- furniture designer
Julie Browning Bova is an Indianapolis-based designer, well known for her sophisticated, equestrian aesthetic. Her new furnishings reflect a nod to the historic Federal style with the integration or more modern materials such as white lacquer and chrome. The collection’s timeless case goods hint at the past but offer a fresh, modern take on All-American style. Bova’s signature ‘tack’ references are ever-present as she layers traditional textures and patterns with historic finishes. Together, Bova’s nearly 50 piece furniture collection of new and original designs create a fresh, yet classically American experience. A few favorites of the Julie Browning Bova for Abner Henry furniture designs is the one-of-a-kind Hunter Boot Rack with acorn pull detailing, the equestrian detailed structured Steel Coffee Table, Circle table, the New-Fashioned Demi-Lune, and many others.
“Inspiration for my home collection grew from a love of furniture, the equestrian life style, nature, and creating a space that feels warm, layered and collected,” Bova said. “You’ll notice an emphasis on pieces that are functional, elegant and special—treasures you would be proud to add to your home.”
Julie Browning Bova returns to High Point Market to share her latest Americana-inspired designs and add to her collection of American-made case goods by Abner Henry Fine Furniture. These beautiful case pieces will be combined with her fine upholstery collection from Stanford Furniture.
